Our Story
eVa is a small eLearning company specializing in providing remote support for eLearning design and development in the health care industry.
Tammy Perry is the eLearning Specialist in charge of all projects and manages virtual assistance (VA) and administrative support.
As a small company, we have a team of wonderful people who have been working together for years to support each other in our projects.
In 2006, the Faculty of Medicine, Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN) in Canada, hired Tammy on a one-year contract to help develop CME/CPD for their cross-country medical school consortium project, MDcme.ca. There she was part of a small team, working in all aspects of course development: Needs Analysis—Instructional Design—Technical Writing—Editing—Photography—Graphic Design—Development—Quality Assurance—Assessment—Project Management.
For the next seven years, she continued working full-time with MDcme.ca developing high quality, accredited, on-demand online CME/CPD courses including Canada’s pandemic planning guide for the Public Health Agency of Canada and several series for the Canadian Medical Association, along with specialised training for International Medical Graduates, hospital staff orientations, and several courses on Diabetes, Parkinson’s Disease, Alzheimer’s Disease etc.
In 2014 she left MUN and began a location independent lifestyle, offering her extensive expertise to training companies and entrepreneurs around the globe.

This is My Story
At the tender age of 16, I was the amphitheater technician for the
Staff Education Department at the Saint John Regional Hospital in New
Brunswick. The Regional was a new, state of the art hospital facility at the time, with a full
multimedia studio and in-house staff education support, including state-of-the-art photography darkrooms and equipment, a fully equiped graphic design studio with PMT cameras and compter-aided graphics, a computer integrated—multi-projector slide-show development suite, and a full sound and video recording studio.
I was inspired by the fancy equipment and fantastic success of this department
in the field of staff education and CME/CPD and so completed a two-year diploma program
in Communication Arts (Photography, Graphic Design and Journalism), with
extension courses in computer programming, television production and technical
writing.
A large training company hired me straight out of school, to teach
technical courses in classrooms all over Canada, and I began my journey into
adult education. I consulted as a curriculum and training developer for the
engineering arm of the Queensland government in Australia and provided
training, consulting and development services in all areas of my expertise,
including web and eLearning development. I developed and taught Digital Design
curriculum for two private colleges and provided consulting services for
various corporations, universities and governments.
